“Well managed, very informative tour guide, ran on schedule, and delivered on what was promised in the viator agenda. Hobbiton was super cool even if you don’t know the movies, and having a driver to get you there was worth every penny. Only complaint was lunch - which was overall unsatisfying.”

“Long driving day . Left at 7:45 am and got back around 7:30 pm. About 2.5 hours to glow worm caves then 1.5 hours to hobbiton and 2.5 hrs home. But the countryside is stunning! Must see! Glow worm caves were very unique but felt rushed and it was crowded. Not a favorite. But glad i saw glow worms in their natural habitat. Our guide wasnt the best could have been problem. Hobbiton was very cool and i am not even a fan of the movie. But the working farm gorgeous. Flowers are stunning. Fun seeing set and beauty all around you . Our bus driver was wonderful with tons…”

“Even though we had a bit of rain, we enjoyed the glow worm caves and Te Puia. Our tour guide Jeoff was incredible and made the trip even more fun - the journey was very comfortable, Jeoff provided commentary about sights we were crossing and also several fun facts about the area and about new zealand history. he answered all our questions and also provided us with snacks and water on the journey. Would definitely recommend Cheeky Kiwi travels and if you get Jeoff as your tour guide then that is icing on the cake”

“Hobbiton was well worth it and the guide for that was great! The driver was exceptional! The glow worm experience was good, liked the caves there, but, if you are traveling by car I would recommend driving yourself to save the money and the time. It is an all day excursion (12hours) with stops for food that were very good, but not included in the price. The glow worms are in other areas for free. You cannot take pictures in the caves so be prepared.”
