“I had such an amazing time at Weta Workshop today! I was looking for something to do on my last day in Auckland and this tour didn't disappoint. Our guide Kris was funny, approachable, helpful and guided us through a seamless tour. The exhibits were very interactive, detailed, creative and filled with vibrant artwork! Highly recommended if you're interested in the creative process of film and arts.”

“The skyjump and walk are worth the money paid another $80 too jump twice after original cost. The weather plays a very big part in what you are looking and doing, but the views are breathtaking. Not much in food or drink and a bit pricey.”

“A gem of a museum & covers a broad group of subjects & something should interest most any visitor. Had quite a few in attendance due to school groups & cruise ships. If that should be true for you, recommend you do top floor downward or top floor, then ground floor & then middle floor to ‘manage’ flow.”

“It was very hard to get in as we brought tickets through viator and they couldn't expect them so our day was ruined and kids where upset but luckily we had enough money to buy more tickets so ended up been an expensive day”

“The artwork and glass art inside the building is fabulous. The gardens and the sculptures are beautiful. The driftwood sculptures of the horses and the whale are amazing. The bronze sculptures were just lovely. I loved the boy pushing the girl on the swing. The sculpture of the boy holding the dolphin is apparently an early work by Leonardo Da Vinci and is quite stunning.”

“I don’t think you can visit Auckland without experiencing the war museum. We learned a ton about more culture about the geological aspects of New Zealand and interacted with some very friendly and knowledgeable locals.!”

“I spent all day at the Museum reading about Maori heritage and looking at displays about how New Zealand formed, their animals and the unique environment. The on-site cafe provided good quality and feesh food along with great coffee. The Maori Cultural Performance was entertaining, informational and fun. Such great voices.”
